Jurgen Klopp has described Wednesday’s trip to Arsenal as Liverpool’s “most important” game in the title race.
Manchester City were held to a draw with Crystal Palace on Monday night, handing Liverpool the chance to close the gap at the top with a win over the Gunners. City’s result means that Liverpool would win the title, if they take maximum points from their remaining 10 games.
However, the Reds boss is refusing to overplay the significance of that result. Despite City’s dropped points putting Liverpool supporters in a buoyant mood, Klopp is not looking beyond Mikel Arteta’s in-form Arsenal side.
