Celtic midfielder Mika Baur has been praised as an "exciting" talent by Germany manager Jurgen Klopp.

This comes after the 22-year-old earned his first senior Germany call-up. Klopp commended Baur's promising start in Glasgow following his summer move from Paderborn.

Klopp's backing signals a significant confidence boost for Baur, who has quickly made his mark in Martin O'Neill's team.

Baur was included in the squad as part of a larger overhaul under Klopp, who sees great potential in the young midfielder.

Should he feature in the upcoming international fixtures, Baur will have a chance to make his senior Germany debut.

This would further solidify his impressive start to life at Celtic.
