Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been handed a one-match touchline ban, fined £30,000 and warned about his future conduct.
The German admitted to breaching Football Association rules during last month’s Premier League match against Manchester City, though was originally only handed a fan. The FA appealed that ruling, with the governing body now announcing they have been successful.
He will now be forced to sit out his side's clash with Southampton this weekend, their final game before the Premier League breaks for the World Cup. Klopp was sent off by Anthony Taylor after screaming in the face of the assistant referee Gary Beswick while protesting the failure to award the Reds a free-kick.
