Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has admitted that his new deal could be an ‘important’ aspect in committing Mohamed Salah to a fresh deal at Anfield.
The forward is currently out of contract next summer, with suggestions that he could be set to leave Anfield. The Reds would of course be averse to losing the Egyptian considering his stunning form this season.
Salah was announced as Football Writers' Association Football of the Year having netted 30 goals in all competitions so far this season. He is currently by far and away the leading scorer in the Premier League with 22 goals - closest challengers Son Heung-Min and Cristiano Ronaldo having just 17 to their name.
