Jurgen Klopp reveals Liverpool transfer plan for this window and two things that could change it
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp insists he does not plan to venture into the transfer window unless the availability of his squad changes drastically before the end of August.
The Reds were one of the Premier League's busiest clubs during the early weeks of the summer window as they had deals for Darwin Nunez, Fabio Carvalho and young full-back Calvin Ramsay swiftly wrapped up by the time the middle of June had come around.
However, having already completed stage one of their pre-season preparations, following their first tour of Asia since 2017, it seems that Klopp won't be dipping into the market to add additional numbers to his squad - unless there are further departures or long-term injuries to the current members of his squad.

Pressed on potential departures, the boss added: "Have I ever spoken in situations like this about it? You get the results - not the process!"
So far Liverpool have suffered injuries to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Alisson Becker and Diogo Jota during the early weeks of summer training, but while the Brazilian is expected to be fit enough for next weekend's visit to the King Power for the game against Manchester City, timescales for the muscle injuries both

UFC superstar Paddy Pimblett delivered a powerful tribute as he reflected on two tragic deaths and men's mental health following his victory at UFC London on Saturday evening.
Pimblett, returning to the cage for the first time since his submission victory over Rodrigo Vargas in March, put on a fantastic showing against American Jordan Leavitt - winning the second round through submission in just his third UFC outing.
But following his win, the 27-year-old, from Huyton, discussed two tragedies that occured during the build-up to the fight including the recent death of his close friend - and used his post-match interview as a platform to encourage men to speak out about their mental health troubles.
"Yeah, once again I'm disappointed in my performance lad, that's not me," said Pimblett while speaking to former UFC champion Michael Bisping. "In the back, I was firing on all cylinders, that was sh**. Pardon my French - I'm better than that."
