Jurgen Klopp comment hints at quiet Liverpool shift that may help against Man City

It was a throwaway comment that raised a smile from Jurgen Klopp and laughter among the assembled media at the AXA Training Centre.

As the Liverpool boss held court on Friday ahead of tomorrow's showdown with Manchester City, it was pointed out the fixture won't have quite the same ramifications on the Premier League title race as in many recent seasons.

"It could be this year," responded Klopp. "Just not with us!"
