Jurgen Klopp calls Liverpool "nowhere near good enough" after "rubbish" game at Fulham

Jurgen Klopp has slammed Liverpool for their "rubbish" performance at Fulham after they were forced to fight back to claim a draw on the opening day.

The Reds twice fell behind to the newly-promoted Cottagers, with club-record signing Darwin Nunez coming off the bench to score one equaliser and lay on the assist for the second. But it was a sloppy performance from the visitors, who are tipped to challenge for the Premier League title.

That display in their first game of the new campaign left Klopp furious, with the German holding nothing back during his post-match press duties. He insisted his side were "nowhere near" the level required and slammed their attitude.
