Reds manager Jurgen Klopp has backed 'party city' Liverpool to host next year's Eurovision Song Contest.
The LFC boss was today asked about what it could mean for Liverpool to welcome the major international event at his weekly press conference. Liverpool is now down to the final two UK cities in the running to host the event - with only Glasgow standing in its way.
Mr Klopp said he has always been disappointed watching Eurovision because his native Germany traditionally don't do well. He said when he was manager of Borussia Dortmund he and his team watched the event in the team hotel.

Many people have pointed to Liverpool's status as a party city as one big reason it should triumph over Glasgow in the fight to host the contest in May 2023.
And Mr Klopp agreed. Having initially seemed unsure about the question, he said: "Liverpool is a city where you can have a big party so if the people coming here want to have a party I think we can do that.
"If its good for the city then bring it here, would be really great - all these fantastic singers. It would be important for the city if we can get that."
This year's contest was won by the Ukrainian entrants Kalush Orchestra. Unfortunately the winning country is unable to host next year's event because of the invasion currently being carried out by Russia.
The UK came second this year thanks to Sam Ryder's efforts. As the runner up it was decided that the UK would host next year's Eurovision Song Contest. A number of UK cities put bids forward and earlier this month it was announced that Liverpool and Glasgow had made it to the final two.
