Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has aimed an indirect jibe at Chelsea's new owner Todd Boehly after the new American-based ownership made the brutal and ruthless decision to part ways with manager Thomas Tuchel.
The news that was released early on Wednesday morning shocked the whole football world. Initially, the presumption made by most was that the Dinamo Zagreb result was the main catalyst for this change, but this couldn't be further away from the truth. football.london understands that cracks in the relationship with Tuchel and his new owners started to show as early as the US pre-season tour. A statement from the Club reads: "Chelsea Football Club has today parted company with head coach Thomas Tuchel.
"On behalf of everyone at Chelsea FC, the Club would like to place on record its gratitude to Thomas and his staff for all their efforts during their time with the Club. Thomas will rightly have a place in Chelsea's history after winning the Champions League, the Super Cup and Club World Cup in his time here. As the new ownership group reaches 100 days since taking over the Club, and as it continues its hard work to take the Club forward, the new owners believe it is the right time to make this transition.

"Chelsea's coaching staff will take charge of the team for training and the preparation of our upcoming matches as the Club moves swiftly to appoint a new head coach.
"There will be no further comment until a new head coach appointment is made."
Many pundits and managers alike have reacted to this news, with Antonio Conte and Mikel Arteta's strong message certainly hitting a chord with many. Klopp wasn't asked about the situation until his pre-match interviews in Naples ahead of his side's crushing defeat at the hands of the Serie A outfit in the UEFA Champions League.
"Not really, this is not the case," he said about whether or not Liverpool could react in a similar way to Chelsea. "Our owners are rather calm and expect me to sort the situation and not think someone else will."
"They are a different kind of owners. Our owners are rather calm."
Fans on social media made jokes about Klopp potentially following Tuchel's suit in being sacked by his respective Club following the heavy defeat, but most Chelsea fans were indeed worried that the first choice option to succeed Tuchel in the form of Graham Potter could U-turn on his thinking and potentially move to Merseyside if that vacancy was to open.
