Jurgen Klopp has vowed to continue on as Liverpool manager and has admitted some things may need to "change" in the summer - but now is not the time for talking.
The Reds are enduring a tough campaign. They are ninth in the Premier League table - 10 points behind Manchester United in fourth. Their most recent defeat was a 3-0 loss at Brighton three days ago. Klopp's side have also been dumped out of the Carabao Cup and need to win at Wolves on Tuesday night to keep their FA Cup hopes alive.
It marks a dramatic decline for Liverpool - who won two trophies, lost to Real Madrid in the Champions League final and finished just a point behind Premier League champions Manchester City last season. Klopp is not giving up on the Reds but admits they will need to look at their strategy in the summer.
Klopp was speaking to the press ahead of Liverpool's trip to Molineux. He was asked if he was too loyal to his players, with the likes of Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho and Jordan Henderson experiencing tricky seasons.
Klopp replied: "Of course I have heard that I am too loyal. I heard that before and I am not. I am loyal - I think everybody should be loyal - but I am not too loyal.
"It is an intelligent question. At Borussia Dortmund, it was clear when I left [in May 2015, joined Liverpool six months later] - I said something has to change. It is a different situation [here]. Either the manager's position changes or a lot of other things change.
"So, as far as I am concerned, what I hear - unless someone tells me - I will not go. So that means maybe there is a point where we have to change other stuff. We will see but that is for the future, like summer or whatever. Not now. I have space and time to think about it.
"We have to play better football now. We cannot play and say: 'Ok, these are the problems but next season we don't have them anymore'. That is a really long time. I cannot promise we will fly tomorrow but what I want to promise is that we really fight and everyone can see it."

Klopp will take inspiration from Liverpool's 2020/21 campaign, when they recovered from a mid-table position to qualify for the Champions League. They are also still in that latter competition this term but face a gruelling last-16 clash against holders Real.
Despite Liverpool's difficult season, Klopp has promised fans that his team "will get there". He added: "The only thing I want is to fix this situation, that's all. And with all the things, some of them, it was clear we'd have problems and it would be another important period of change really but with all the injuries, it's much more than you could have expected.
"That is a fact as well but nobody is interested in it. Other teams are flying and that is fine - we were in that position last year. I'm responsible for specific things. With all the things you do, I really think you should behave properly and not blame somebody so you don't get blamed yourself.
"I hate that [opponents have worked Liverpool out] but I understand it. But I see it as a chance, too. It is long ago that we could surprise opponents because we were just good or whatever, for long periods. Imagine we play a really good game now? That would be really cool. We will get there."
