Jurgen Klopp admits he is worried about Liverpool's prospects of qualifying for next season's Champions League following their dramatic home defeat to Leeds United. The Reds currently trail Newcastle United by eight points following Crysencio Summerville's 89th-minute winner at Anfield on Saturday night.
The Magpies moved into the top four on the back of a sensational away victory at Tottenham last weekend, and maintained their position with a thumping home win over Aston Villa. Callum Wilson's brace and goals from Miguel Almiron and Joelinton sealed a comfortable 4-0 victory at St James' Park.
In contrast, Klopp's side slipped to a second straight defeat to relegation contenders having defied the form book to triumph over Manchester City a fortnight ago. Liverpool followed up the shock setback at Forest with a 2-1 loss to Leeds on home soil.

It leaves the Carabao Cup and FA Cup holders ninth in the table, albeit with a game in hand on Newcastle and Tottenham in the top four. Klopp insists Champions League qualification is not his 'main worry' at the moment, but accepts his side's lack of consistency is a concern.
When asked if he was worried about a top-four finish, he told the Liverpool Echo: “Yes. That’s actually not my main worry at the moment as I have a lot of other worries. But, of course, I’m not that dumb that I don’t know about distances and who is up there.
“You cannot qualify for the Champions League if you play as inconsistent as we do at the moment. We have to fix that. Then we will see where we end up.
“We all know that a lot of things are possible, but for that we have to win football games which we haven’t done that often.”
