Jurgen Klinsmann believes Celtic star Yang Hyun-jun has a big future at international level after handing him his debut for South Korea.
The Asian nation failed to win for the fifth game in a row under Klinsmann after a goalless draw in Wales this week in a friendly match.
Hoops ace Yang was sent on as a late sub and won his first cap for his country at the age of 21.
And the former Germany and USA boss has backed Yang - who signed for Celtic this summer in a £2.1 million deal from Gangwon - to be a big part of his plans in the future.
Klinsmann said: "Yang has been playing well for Celtic and he came on here and was good too.
"I think it will be very important to see how much he grows and develops both at club and at country level.
"A lot of young players have joined and these players need to prove themselves with their performances.
"It is exciting to see the national team grow and develop with the addition of new players like Yang."
