Parents and children have been left disappointed after the hugely anticipated Jurassic Takeover Day was postponed just a day before event.
Jurassic Take Over Day was set to take place at Leeds First Direct Arena today. However families received an email to say the event had been postponed less than 24 hours before it was due to take place.
An email, which was sent to all ticket holders from the organisers on Tuesday, said: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Jurassic Takeover Day will not be taking place on Wednesday, April 12, 2023.

"A new date will be announced very soon and all tickets will remain valid for the reschedule event. We apologise for any inconvenience."
The last minute let down left some devastated. One mum, who posted a screenshot of the email to Leedsplace, said: "Just received this email going to have a very upset little boy!"
Jurassic Takeover Day was set to mark the 30 year anniversary since the film Jurassic Park. Guests are given the opportunity to train as a ranger, learn about the baby dinosaurs in the Hatchery, take photos in the Gyrosphere, take selfies with interactive Dilophosaurus, watch a specially produced dinosaur show and more.
