Junior Firpo has opened up on his blossoming partnership with Jack Harrison, and has described the Leeds United star as 'one of the best wingers' he's worked with.
Firpo has undergone a remarkable transformation since Jesse Marsch was relieved of his duties in February. The former Barcelona man came back into the first team fold after Pascal Struijk suffered concussion during the 2-2 draw against Manchester United last month, and has since established himself in the starting XI.
He scored his first Premier League goal in the 1-0 victory over Southampton on Javi Gracia's debut, and is beginning to show the quality that previously earned him a move to Elland Road.

Harrison has also been given a new lease of life during Gracia's opening four league games at the helm - registering two goals and two assists apiece. And Firpo is delighted to have struck up such a natural combination with his fellow Leeds teammate.
“With Jacky (Harrison), I don’t need to work too much (on overlaps and their combination on the left-hand side). We just have a really good relationship in and out of the pitch, so we don’t need to work," Firpo told Leeds United's official podcast.
“He’s one of the best wingers I had, in terms of helping the full-back. This is really important for the fullback when you have a winger that is committed to the work and helps you with the 2v1’s, especially here in the Premier League where every team has amazing wingers. It’s unbelievable to have him.”
