Junior Andre has hit out at 'soulless' comments about the Queen he has seen among his generation after it was announced Her Majesty had tragically passed away, aged 96, at her royal residence in Balmoral on Thursday.
While the nation mourned Queen Elizabeth II's death, opinion writers from The New York Times, New York Magazine and Atlantic were among those who openly celebrated and called out the monarchy for its historic ties with colonialism.
The 17-year-old son of Peter Andre took to Instagram to call out his peers saying some of the comments he had seen were "all for likes" and felt they were heartless.
Junior shared a post written by presenter David Whiteley on Instagram, which read: "This generation is seeing so much mad things back to back. It's one of the maddest times to be alive. And also... the most unserious generation ever.
"Some of the soulless comments I've read, all for likes and a pinned comment."
On David's original post, dozens of others had commented on how they had been upset by some negative remarks regarding the Royal Family's history on social media.
One wrote: "Totally agree. The disgusting vitriol taking place on Twitter today regarding the passing of our Queen is appalling. I really do fear for our future."
While another added: "Yes I agree. Totally disgusting."
Meanwhile, Junior's mum Katie Price confirmed that her Channel 4 documentary, which was due to air on Thursday, had been cancelled as she paid tribute to the Queen following her death.
The former glamour model, 44, was to appear in a documentary exploring her struggle with trauma.
However, she revealed that the show has been pulled following the announcement of the Queen's ill health.
Taking to Instagram today, Katie told her followers: "My film on @channel4 this evening is being moved to a later date due to the Queen's illness.
"My thoughts and prayers are with the Royal Family at this time."
The Queen's family - including Prince Charles, Camilla and Prince William - rushed to be by her side at Balmoral after Buckingham Palace issued a rare statement announcing that doctors were concerned for her health.
Prince Harry and Meghan cancelled their engagements following the Palace's announcement, with the Duke of Sussex flying to Balmoral to be at his grandmother's side.
Sadly, the palace confirmed just hours later that the monarch had died.
The statement read: "The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow."
