Bayern Munich have reportedly sacked manager Julien Nagelsmann after their defeat to Bayer Leverkusen at the weekend.
The Bundesliga champions aren't having a disastrous season as they remain in contention to retain their title while they saw off PSG to reach the Champions League quarter-finals, where they will face Manchester City. But just 15 wins in 25 league games has left them a point behind Borussia Dortmund and in danger of relinquishing their longstanding dominance.
And Bild report they have sacked boss Nagelsmann with Thomas Tuchel tipped as the favourite to take over until the end of the season. 35-year-old Nagelsmann had been in the job since 2021 having left RB Leipzig for the top job in Munich and they won a league and cup double last season but their form this term has been patchy. Mauricio Pochettino is also likely to be a contender to replace him.
