One of the more unexpected, yet exciting, offseason moves the Seattle Seahawks made this spring was signing former New York Giants safety Julian Love. After a strong year with Big Blue, Love is headed from the Big Apple to the Evergreen State.
When listening to Love’s initial interview back in April with the Seattle media, he mentioned how he knew he was supposed to be with the Seahawks. It seems Love’s sentiment was perhaps more than just football.
Earlier this week, Love revealed his personal, familial connection with the City of Seattle.
Seahawks safety Julian Love revealed today that his grandmother's brother was the founder of Paseo, a well-known Cuban restaurant in Seattle.

This feels like it could be the beginning of a beautiful NFL relationship. With Paseo in mind, if Love can replicate his success with the Giants for the Seahawks, it won’t take much for him to become a fan favorite among the 12th Man.
