Juice Kiffin is a perfect dog, even if he’s eating Tim Tebow’s mic

Bringing a live animal into anything is a risk, especially when live television is involved. The chances of the creature doing something unexpected is high, as we saw with the almost disastrous meeting between Texas mascot Bevo — a 1,700-pound steer — and Georgia’s bulldog Uga back in 2019.

Dogs have been involved in college athletics for ages as live mascots like Jonathan the Husky (UConn), Reveille (Texas A&M) and the road-tripping Blue IV (Butler) have warmed our hearts while service dogs like Hudson (ODU) and Champ (UVA) roam the sidelines.

The thing is, when you bring a rambunctious puppy into the mix, things can go hilariously and very adorably wrong. Tim Tebow and the SEC pregame show learned that on Saturday morning as Juice Kiffin — the precious puppy of Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin — helped himself to a tasty treat in the form of Tebow’s mic.

Perfect form by Juice. Let them think you’re just being sweet and giving out kisses when really your plan all along was to eat something forbidden.
