The real estate on Juhann Begarin island had gotten pretty affordable of late but after the French guard’s play in the Boston Celtics’ 103-92 win over the Golden State Warriors in their third contest of Las Vegas Summer League, we expect it to have risen noticeably.
The stashed Celtics wing came alive in the exhibition contest against the Las Vegas version of the team that ripped the 2022 title out of their hands just weeks earlier, Begarin helping exact a modicum of revenge with his 21 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocks in 33 minutes of play. He turned the ball over quite a bit at 5 total times, but only fouled 2 times to help make up for the poor ball control.
The Frenchman hit 7-of-19 overall, 2-of-4 from 3, and 4-of-5 from the free-throw line for his best showing yet in the States.
