The search is on to find the UK's ugliest dog but it seems to be proving more difficult than judges initially thought. Last month, photography company ParrotPrint.com launched a rather unusual nationwide competition to track down the most peculiar-looking pup in Britain.
Now contest organisers say most of the pooches entered have been "too cute" to steal the crown, and are calling for more "butt ugly" submissions to make it into the top 12. Founder Matt Dahan said: "We need to ask people not to send in pictures unless they honestly consider their dog to be one of the ugliest in the land."
