A judge has ordered the release of a heartbreaking letter he sent to two boys aged eight and 11 explaining to them why he had to rule they are not allowed to live full-time with their mum. The boys are locked in a custody battle between mum and dad which has been going on for six years.
At the minute the boys spend one week living in London, then make a 320-mile roundtrip to spend a week living with their mum in Somerset. In the latest court battle, the boys had asked if they could live full-time with their mum in Somerset. The judge decided they cannot.
But he wrote to the boys to explain why, reports MyLondon, after the elder brother told the court: "I wish my mum and dad would be back together and stop arguing and all of this crap that is going on."
