A judge ruled that an Alabama woman who alleges she was raped by Jay-Z and Sean 'Diddy' Combs when she was 13 can proceed anonymously in her lawsuit against the rap moguls. The judge cited the woman's right to anonymity at this early stage of the litigation but noted that she may be required to reveal her identity later on if the case progresses.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs is currently in jail in New York awaiting a criminal trial on federal sex trafficking charges. He is facing multiple sexual assault lawsuits, including the one filed by the plaintiff's lawyer, who represents over 150 individuals alleging sexual abuse and exploitation by Combs.

The lawsuits claim that many individuals were abused at parties in various states after being given drug-laced drinks. Combs' lawyers have dismissed the lawsuits as 'shameless publicity stunts' aimed at extorting payments from celebrities.

In her lawsuit, the woman, identified as 'Jane Doe,' alleges that she was raped at 13 after attending an after-party for the MTV Music Awards in New York City. Jay-Z's lawyer has requested to dismiss him from the lawsuit, citing inconsistencies in the plaintiff's story, including discrepancies in her travel details and her father's recollection.

The judge criticized Jay-Z's lawyer for filing combative motions and using inflammatory language against the plaintiff's lawyer, calling it inappropriate and a waste of judicial resources. The judge emphasized that the court will not expedite the process solely based on counsel's demands.
