It's likely to be an interesting week in the world of Liverpool Football Club after Jurgen Klopp confirmed that the club is now actively looking to sign a midfielder.
With an injury list as long as your arm, the Reds look short in the engine room and after a ropey start to the new Premier League season, Klopp has conceded that he needs to strengthen his options in the middle of the park.
With the transfer window set to 'slam shut' in three days time, there could yet be some Anfield exits as well. Here's a round-up of the latest Liverpool transfer rumours trending on the internet's football circuit.

Football Insider
What?
Liverpool's interest in Jude Bellingham is possibly the worst kept secret in football, but a fresh report suggest that the Reds could be making some headway on his acquisition.
According to Football Insider, talks about a possible transfer are developing with Borussia Dortmund and although an August switch is almost certainly out of the question, the Reds could bring the 19-year-old England international to Anfield as early as January, after striking a 'verbal agreement'.
Should the Reds seal the deal it is likely to be for a club-record fee.
Who?
Konrad Laimer
Where?
What?
Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing RB Leipzig midfielder Konrad Laimer. The 25-year-old Austrian joined the German side from fellow Red Bull outfit RB Salzburg in 2017 and has gone on to make 111 Bundesliga appearances.
Laimer only has 10 months remaining on his contract and is exactly the type of hard-working high-energy player that Jurgen Klopp likes. He was also subject to interest from Bayern Munich earlier in the transfer window.
Who?
Sepp van den Berg
Where?
What?
Blackburn Rovers could still land Liverpool defender Sepp van den Berg before transfer deadline day. According to reports, the two clubs have already got an agreement about a loan deal in place, but Liverpool's problematic injury list has held up completion of the deal.
Despite the delay, Rovers appear to be willing to wait for the Dutch youngster, who played in the Championship for Preston North End on loan last season, even if it goes down to the wire. With Joel Matip expected back in training next week and Nat Philips still at the club, the Reds could be willing to let Van den Berg make the switch to Ewood Park at the last minute.
