Who?
Carney Chukwuemeka.
Where?
What?
Carney Chukwuemeka has reportedly rejected a new contract with Aston Villa is showing 'no signs' of staying with the Midlands club. That's according to Telegraph reporter Mike McGrath, who says the 18-year-old midfielder as looking for a move.
And that's good news for Liverpool, who apparently hold Chukwuemeka in high regard. Villa boss Steven Gerrard has already given the exciting prospect 16 appearances for Villa, but with only one year left on his contract, the Reds could snap him up for a compensation fee.
McGrath Tweeted: “Carney Chukwuemeka has rejected #AVFC contract extension and no sign of agreement. He can seal pre-contract with another club in January and leave for around £400,000 next summer, which many would explore in his situation. Clubs expected to bid before that.”
Who?
Antony.
Where?
What?
Liverpool will pip Manchester United to the signing of Ajax winger Antony, according to Football Insider.
The Brazilian has been making waves in both European and international football and has been strongly linked with a move away from the Amsterdam club this summer. And the report claims that the Reds have already made contact with Ajax about the 22-year-old's availability.
The Dutch side are reportedly holding out for £59million for their star man, but that is not believed to be sum that Liverpool are prepared to part with.
Who?
Jude Bellingham.
Where?
What?
There has been no shortage of rumours linking Liverpool with Jude Bellingham. But journalist Fabrizio Romano has added fuel to the speculation in his latest YouTube update.
According to Romano, Liverpool contacted Borussia Dortmund weeks ago to enquire about the availability of their 19-year-old midfielder. Many accounts suggest the Reds have been planning to go for the England international next pre-season - but it appears they may have wanted to secure their man a year earlier.
While every player has his price, the ECHO understands Liverpool don't believe there is a negotiation to be had at present with Dortmund, who are desperate to hold on to their midfield star.
