Lead vocalist Rob Halford of British heavy metal band Judas Priest recently performed on stage during their '50 Heavy Metal Years' tour at the Tech Port Arena in San Antonio, Texas, on November 23, 2022. The band's journey dates back to 1974 when they recorded their debut album, 'Rocka Rolla,' which showcased a blend of blues-and-folk-influenced progressive hard rock rather than their later signature heavy metal sound.
Despite humble beginnings and challenging recording conditions, Judas Priest has evolved over the years, amassing a dedicated fan base and influencing numerous metal acts. The current lineup includes Halford, bassist Ian Hill, guitarist Glenn Tipton, drummer Scott Travis, and guitarist Richie Faulkner.
