Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo was at the center of an emotionally charged fiasco about a game ball.
This story was incredibly silly and overly dramatic (with petty social media posts from both teams to follow) and it was also the most viral basketball news item of the day.
Antetokounmpo, who was both visibly distraught and audibly upset by the entire situation, clearly wanted the game ball after his career-high 64 points.
Boston Celtics guard Jrue Holiday, who played alongside Antetokounmpo in Milwaukee, said he had no idea at all what happened.
"I've got kids" is the perfect I've-got-no-time-for-that response to avoid getting caught up in drama.

Holiday, who won a title with Antetokounmpo for Milwaukee in 2021, was traded from the Bucks this past offseason. When he was asked to talk about his former teammate on Thursday, the guard claimed ignorance.
While it seems like this was a basketball story that anyone who followed the game would have heard about, Holiday had a legitimate excuse. He said that he “has kids, ya’ll” (a perfect alibi, mind you!)
Holiday did seem genuinely confused when he was asked about the story and was curious enough to ask the reporters if Antetokounmpo eventually did end up with the game ball.
He also apologized for not giving any more insight to the reporters, so this probably isn’t just a petty move from Holiday. More likely, when he is not on the court, he legitimately has parenting duties he needs to focus on.
