Zara and Mike Tindall have made plans for their next sunshine getaway during a jovial video call with a tropical background.
The couple missed out a trip to the Gold Coast Star Magic Millions Racing Carnival in Australia due to Covid-19.
Instead, they sat in front of the sunny backdrop to chat about the Gold Coast event, which saw Coolangatta stay unbeaten in the Magic Millions Classic on the racing front.
In the clip, Zara, a patron of the carnival, joked that they were trying to convince themselves they were somewhere warm.
The couple, who share Mia, who turns eight today, Lena, three, and 10-month-old Lucas, were not too happy with the UK winter temperatures.
During the interview, posted on the Magic Millions' Instagram page, the host asked about their colourful appearance, with Mike sitting in front of a palm tree.
The presenter said: "I was expecting to see you somewhere cold. Are you on the Gold Coast, Hawaii or somewhere fictitious?"
Mike replied "We're trying to feel like we're on the Gold Coast. It's about minus one outside and miserable and pitch black."
Zara added: "We are so missing the warmth. Last year was definitely a no-no not coming down and this year was kind of almost there and really itching to get out there."
The amusing chat with Australian sports channel 7+, saw Mike joke he was dressed like Dirk Diggler, a male porn star featured in a 1988 mockumentary.
The former rugby player was wearing a floral shirt under a grey blazer, alongside Zara sporting a blue and white summery top.
Zara, a former Olympic rider, said she has been watching the valuable carnival, which combines various equine disciplines.
She said: "It looked incredible, and like it went really well, and what an incredible addition to the whole day. The day's already amazing with the polo and to put the show jumping in there must have been a real sight to see."
Coolnagatta lived up to the hype in the $1.45 million racing classic under Australia’s premier jockey James McDonald.
Zara, who praised Katie Page and Gerry Harvey for starting the Magic Million initiative ten years ago, confirmed to the presenter they plan to fly over in 2023.
"Definitely. We can't wait to come back down and hopefully for many years to come," she said.
