Jotham Napat to lead new Vanuatu government

Jotham Napat has been elected as Vanuatu's prime minister and will lead a five-party coalition government following a snap election last month.

The 52-year-old from the southern island of Tanna becomes the fifth man to lead Vanuatu since 2022, taking over from Charlot Salwai.
