Nottingham Forest are in to the FA Cup quarter-finals for the first time since 1996 after beating Huddersfield Town 2-1 at the City Ground.
Their reward is a home tie against Premier League mega power Liverpool on Sunday March 20 (6pm) as Reds fans dream of beating a top flight team for the third time this season, having already seen off Arsenal and Leicester City.
Much of Forest's chances will depend on what kind of team they face, so we have taken a look at previous FA Cup selections from Jurgen Klopp, as well as speaking to a Liverpool expert.
What kind of team will Liverpool pick and why?
The Liverpool Echo's Mark Wakefield explains the issues which will influence Klopp's starting XI choice next Sunday.
"Liverpool’s team selection for the FA Cup is likely to remain a mystery until the very latter stages of the competition, if they get that far.
"So far we’ve seen very mixed team selections by Jurgen Klopp, but there has been a good reason for them all.
"The last tie against Norwich City was just three days after the Carabao Cup final win over Chelsea, where the main stars played 120 minutes and went through a gruelling penalty shootout.
"Klopp made 10 changes for that match as they beat the Canaries 2-1 at Anfield.
"Changes were necessary then, and it could be the case once more when they travel to face Nottingham Forest in the quarter-final.
"Just a few days before then Liverpool take on Arsenal in the Premier League away from home - that is no easy game given how the Gunners have been playing recently.
"An unprecedented quadruple, however far-fetched it may seem, is still on the table and Klopp will be wanting to go as strong as he possibly can in every game between now and the end of the season.
"Between now and the Forest game Liverpool have three matches - Inter Milan in the Champions League, followed by league clashes against Brighton and Arsenal.
"You would expect Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, Alisson Becker and Fabinho to be the four that starts all three of those matches, barring any injuries, with the rest of the team interchangeable.
"By the time Forest comes around, will Klopp still go with Salah and co in the team? I’m not so sure, especially given there is also Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Luis Diaz available.
"Let’s not forget Divock Origi and Takumi Minamino have also played their part in the cup competitions this season.
"It remains to be seen what line-up Klopp goes for, especially seen as this is the last match before the March international break.
"Given there’s another trip to Wembley on the line, I would expect a near full strong Liverpool team to line up at the City Ground.
"Will Salah be among them? Let’s wait and find out."
What history tells us
History has not been kind to Liverpool in the FA Cup in recent years. They have not made the semi-finals since 2015 and have failed to get into the last eight since then.
However, that is not to say Klopp fields a team of kids in the competition.
In round three this season, against Shrewsbury Town, there were some youngsters, but van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate, Andy Robertson, Fabinho and Curtis Jones all started.
Liverpool also went strong in round four against Cardiff. Like in round three, AFCON was taking place, but van Dijk, Konate, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jordan Henderson, Jones, Firmino, Minamino and Jota all started.
If anything they were weaker in the last round against Norwich but Alisson, Henderson and Jota all started with team rounded off with the likes of Origi, Konate and Oxlade-Chamberlain.
All that suggests that while Salah and Alexander-Arnold might get a rest, at least three or four of the elite players will still start with the rest of the team quite possibly being full internationals bar Jones or Harvey Elliott.
Possible XI: Kelleher, Gomez, van Dijk, Konate, Tsimikas; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Henderson, Keita; Diaz, Jota, Mane
