Celtic winger Jota says it was always his aim to return to Parkhead this summer - and Saturday's friendly with Blackburn Rovers helped show him why.
Hoops supporters inside Parkhead got a glimpse of what the Portuguese winger will bring to Celtic in his first permanent season after a loan last term from Benfica was turned into a long-term stay. He scored a fine effort and displayed some fantastic skill in the 2-2 draw against English Championship opposition.
A Premiership title defence and Champions League group stage football await, and Jota is keen to hit the ground running, telling Premier Sports: "It's always an honour to play in this stadium with these fans so we are delighted to be back and we just hope that we can do an amazing season. Of course this is a massive club and it was an aim of mine to play here for this fantastic club.
