Josip Juranovic reveals unshakeable Celtic Champions League dream as he reacts to transfer interest

Ambitious Josip Juranovic has revealed leading Celtic to the Champions League is driving him in the pursuit of Premiership title glory.

The rampaging full-back has turned heads since joining from Legia Warsaw last summer and has played at both right and left back.

Juranovic admits a long-term dream of lining up in world football's biggest club tournament with the famous anthem ringing loud is something he and his team-mates craves.

Celtic lead rivals Rangers by six points with six league matches remaining with Ange Postecoglou 's side hot favourites to secure title glory.

Speaking to Nova TV, Juranovic said: "I want to play in the Champions League, to finally hear the anthem of the Champions League. I will do my best to stay first on the ladder and finally play where we all want to be."

And the 26-year-old already has one eye on the looming Scottish Cup semi final with Rangers as Celtic target a fifth Treble in the last six seasons.

Hampden has been kind to Juranovic as he played in the Croatia side that defeated Scotland at Euro 2020 and he won against St Johnstone and Hibs in the Premier Sports Cup.

He added: "We are playing against Rangers at Hampden. It will be a good experience for the future. I have good memories from that field, so I hope that he will continue to serve me."

Juranovic's form has caught the attention of others with Leicester reportedly keeping tabs on his progression in Glasgow.

And the Croatia international admits he doesn't mind if his displays are impressing potential suitors.

He said: "I like such stories."
