Josip Juranovic made the dream start to life at Union Berlin with the game winning moment on his debut.
The former Celtic defender was pitched in from the start as he made his Bundesliga bow in an away clash with Werder Bremen. The full-back and his new side are flying high in Germany's top flight and now only trail Bayern Munich at the midway stage of the season after going into second spot following a comeback win on the road - with the Croatia international playing a starring role.
Juranovic's dream debut got off to a bad start with his new side falling behind with just 13 minutes on the clock as Amos Pieper got his head to a dangerous free-kick and his flicked effort found the back of the net. The visitors weren't made to wait long for a leveller and it is a moment the home side will want to forget. Pieper, the hero just four minutes earlier was the villain as his loose back pass to his goalkeeper was intercepted but after an initial block from Bremen No1, Janik Haberer was on hand to fire home.

Just one minute into the second half Juranovic would have his big debut moment to remember as the ex-Celtic star whipped in a deep corner kick and it was met by Kevin Behrens who superbly nodded back across goal to leave the goalkeeper helpless.
The visitors' comeback was complete and they held on to claim a big victory on the road and consolidate their Bundesliga title and Champions League hopes at the halfway stage of the league standings. They are just three points off Bayern at the summit. Just four points separates Union in second and Wolfsburg down in seventh in a very tightly contested league.
Next up is a trip to face relegation threatened Hertha Berlin before DFB-Pokal round of 16 action against league rivals Wolfsburg.
Juranovic and Co also have Europa League knockout football on the horizon with a clash against Rangers' Champions League group stage rivals Ajax.
