The actors were first linked romantically in October 2023 after attending a Janelle Monáe concert in Los Angeles. This outing initially appeared platonic as they were with other friends. Jackson, 45, had recently split from his wife, Jodie Turner-Smith, while Nyong’o was also transitioning out of her relationship with Selema Masekela.
