Josh Gordon’s absurd 65-yard TD for the XFL’s Sea Dragons was a thing of beauty

Former NFL wide receiver Josh Gordon is making the most of his time in the XFL.

After his latest attempt to make it with a pro roster with the Tennessee Titans fizzled out this past October, Gordon has been tearing it up with his first stint in the XFL with the Seattle Sea Dragons. The wideout has 343 yards and five touchdowns through three XFL games.

This past Saturday, Gordon hauled in six receptions for 118 yards and two touchdowns. One came on fourth down at the end of the fourth quarter and gave Seattle the victory over the Vegas Vipers.

While Gordon hasn’t been an impactful NFL player in quite some time, his XFL success hypothetically could intrigue teams to bring him in to compete in training camp.

It remains to be seen what will become of Gordon’s XFL boost, as he’s got plenty more time in the semi-pro league to show out.

He’ll be 32 by the time the 2023 NFL season kicks off, so time is ticking for him to latch on back with a pro team. However, if Gordon’s NFL career has proven anything, it’s that you can’t ever count him out.

If he wants it, yet another professional opportunity could become available.
