Josh Brolin recently shared his experience filming Dune: Part Two, where he praised the cast and crew for filming on location to capture the desert scenes of the planet Arrakis. During an appearance on Good Morning America, the 56-year-old actor mentioned that he brought his two young daughters along for the filming adventure.
Brolin expressed his love for the desert and recounted how he, along with his 3-year-old and 5-year-old daughters, explored the dunes daily during the filming. The actor described the vastness of the desert, located two and a half hours south of Abu Dhabi, as a humbling experience with endless stretches of sand.
The actor shares his daughters with his wife Kathryn Boyd Brolin, who tied the knot in September 2016. Brolin also has two adult children, Eden and Trevor, from his previous marriage to actress Alice Adair.
In a social media post, Brolin shared adorable photos of his daughter Westlyn Rain's first dance recital, showcasing his pride in her achievement. He also posted a heartwarming picture of his daughters with their grandfathers, highlighting the family's bond.
Reflecting on his role as a parent, Brolin expressed gratitude for the opportunity to raise his young children while still being actively involved in his older children's lives. He emphasized the importance of being present for significant moments in his children's lives, such as walking his daughter down the aisle.
