Josh Allen’s golf ball for ‘The Match’ features Tom Brady’s infamous NFL combine photo

In Tom Brady’s two-plus decades in the NFL, there has been no shortage of reminders of his er, “troubled” past.

Of course, I’m talking about Brady’s exploits at the 2000 NFL Scouting Combine. Thanks to that event, a shirtless (and, let’s be honest, unflattering) photo of Brady’s then-physique resurfaces from time to time. Sometimes out of love, especially after he wins a big game. Sometimes out of good old-fashioned spite, especially after winning a big game.

With “The Match” pitting Brady and Aaron Rodgers against Pat Mahomes and Josh Allen on Wednesday night, Allen grasped for the familiar low-hanging fruit:

He put the infamous Brady combine photo on his go-to golf ball.

How absolutely savage. I don’t know about you, but I’m loving this superstar turn from Josh Allen. He’s taking shots at maybe the greatest quarterback of all time, and I’m not even batting an eyelash.

Not only that, this is a known sore spot as Brady has previously expressed his distain for the picture’s existence over the years.

Over 20 years later, Brady is still bothered by how he looked in his early 20s. Who among us?
