The Jacksonville Jaguars had Folorunso Fatukasi and Brandon Scherff back on the practice field Thursday ahead of a Week 3 matchup against the Houston Texans. Josh Allen and Andrew Wingard remained in orange, non-contact jerseys, though.
Allen, 26, is dealing with a shoulder injury that he suffered during the Jaguars’ 17-9 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. While he spent time in the medical tent during that game and appeared to be in pain at points, Jaguars coach Doug Pederson told reporters Wednesday that the pass rusher “is going to be fine.” Still, Allen was limited in practice both Wednesday and Thursday, along with Wingard.

Scherff was a full participant after missing Wednesday due to personal reasons. Fatukasi was also absent with what the team called a shoulder injury, but the defensive lineman was a limited participant Thursday.
For the Texans, the significant injury news is a hamstring issue for second-year cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. that’s expected to push former Jaguars corner Shaquill Griffin into the starting lineup.
