Joseph Parker has received an offer to fight Otto Wallin if he cannot rekindle a fight with Joe Joyce.
Parker hasn't fought since defeating Derek Chisora in a sensational rematch earlier this year and is currently searching for his next opponent. The New Zealander was initially announced as the next opponent for British star Joe Joyce but the fight collapsed with Parker instead electing to sign a new promotional deal with BOXXER.
A whole host of fights have been proposed for Parker with a rematch against Dillian Whyte high on the agenda to try and avenge his defeat. BOXXER promoter Ben Shalom has revealed that an announcement can be expected in the coming weeks regarding his future. "We are still hopeful of the Dillian Whyte rematch and Joe Joyce fight for him, but we have had an offer for him to fight Otto Wallin," Shalom confirmed in an exclusive chat with Mirror Fighting courtesy of Bet365.
"It is another thing we are considering, he would also like the fights with Deontay Wilder and Andy Ruiz. He wants to fight anyone and everyone but the end of September or early October he will be fighting. We are still hopeful of making the fights we identified at the start and we think Joseph is going to perform very well on Sky. We think that one of these fights will be announced in the next couple of weeks."
Parker faced off with Joyce after Fury's victory over Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium with the fight initially scheduled for this month. However the fight was shelved after Parker's trainer Andy Lee was unable to be in the New Zealander's corner on fight night, but an agreement remained in place according to promoter Frank Warren.
Shalom later revealed he had made an offer of £1.2 million to instead stage a rescheduled fight on his own Sky Sports platform after announcing Parker's signature. However Joyce instead was forced to accept a clash with Christian Hammer and the fight now appears on thin ice.

Joyce's promoter Warren recently suggested a fight was now dead in the water with Joyce now likely to pursue alternative options. 'You're flogging a dead horse,' Warren said previously at Joyce's recent press conference. "Joe Parker's not happening, end of story. He walked away and signed with Sky.
"It's dead. 'He (Joyce) is the number one, not Joe Parker. Who gives a monkey's? He's an opponent for us; he comes from New Zealand, with the biggest respect for people coming from overseas. He (Joyce) is the British guy; that's all we're interested in. He wants the fight, it was there for him to have, and it still is.
"But it's not going on any other channel, end of story. Let them get on with it. Obviously they signed Joseph Parker to replace Anthony Joshua on Sky, and that's their choice. We are where we are, and all he needs to focus on is one thing: Saturday night."
