Jose Mourinho has already hinted at a deep affection for Chelsea as rumours swirl regarding a potential second return for the Portuguese boss.
The current Roma head coach has enjoyed two hugely successful stints at Stamford Bridge. During his first stint, he claimed two Premier League titles, as well as two League Cups and the FA Cup.
Mourinho added to that collection after returning in 2013 with a further League Cup success, whilst he also claimed yet another league title. Whilst each of the two spells ending in the sack, that has not put the Portuguese off returning for yet another stint in West London.
According to reports, Mourinho is keen on a switch back to England at some point in his career with the Blues reportedly in his sights. As per the reports, his representatives have made it known that he would be willing to take the reins once more - albeit looking unlikely that a vacancy will be available any time soon.
Despite having come under pressure since his arrival at Stamford Bridge, Graham Potter penned a five-year deal with Chelsea after becoming Thomas Tuchel’s successor and the club are willing to stick by the former Brighton man. Amid the rumours over a potential Mourinho return, his comments about the club have resurfaced and have made clear the affection that he holds.
Speaking previously to Sky Sports, he referenced Chelsea as his club. Mourinho said: "If you ask me do I have somebody that I would love to take over from 'my Chelsea' let's say that, yes, but I have but I close my mouth.

"The club reached such a level that it doesn't matter who it's with but Chelsea will always be Chelsea. Chelsea will always be big and my house will always be 200 metres away from the stadium so I want to keep listening to the sound of happiness and success. I'm pretty sure it's going to be like that."
Meanwhile, the 60-year-old has also claimed that he references his time with Chelsea as the best time of his career in England despite stints with Premier League rivals Manchester United and Tottenham. He said: "Of course, my English connection is Chelsea.
“That's the way I see things, as a Chelsea man after two periods of Chelsea and six years.” It remains to be seen whether Mourinho will return to Chelsea in any capacity some time soon. For the time being at least, he remains with Italian giants Roma having led the club to the Europa Conference League title last term.
He is under contract at the Stadio Olimpico until the summer of 2024 having been appointed as head coach ahead of the 2021/22 season after a disappointing spell with Tottenham.
