Jose Cordoba will not complete a transfer switch to Rangers.
The Ibrox club have pulled out of the race to sign Cordoba despite the Panama international being a main target earlier in the summer window.
It's understood Cordoba received a tour of Ibrox and watched the Scottish Premiership fixture against Kilmarnock in a bid to strike a deal.
However, The Rangers Review now report Rangers have moved on to alternative targets.
Philippe Clement had targeted Cordoba to add to his defensive options but is now set to turn his attention elsewhere.
Cordoba bid farewell to Bulgarian club Levski Sofia ahead of a possible transfer switch - but it is not known he will not be headed for Scotland.
The 22-year-old was also linked with a possible switch to Norwich City.
