Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has confirmed that he was awoken by fireworks outside the Hilton Hotel in the lead up to his side's match against Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon.
Evertonians have been campaigning all week to have the best atmosphere possible at the ground for what is set to be a crucial match in the fight against relegation.
That included an incredible welcome for the team coach in the hours before kick off.

And it has emerged that fireworks were let off outside the Hilton in the city centre - where Thomas Tuchel's squad were staying ahead of the game. Videos surfaced online throughout the night of a number of occasions with fireworks and other loud noises being set off.
And the Brazilian has admitted that it did disturb his own sleep. He told Sky Sports: "Yes it was a bit noisy...I woke up and was like 'what's going on here?'
"We knew that maybe it would happen. We just went asleep again to be ready today."
Speaking ahead of the game, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel was asked by Sky Sports if he was woken up by the early hours antics.
He replied: "Little bit. Woke up twice. I think that was the target. But I turned on the other side after one minute and continued my sleep - not a big impact!"
Everton have the chance to close the gap to Leeds above them in the Premier League table to two points with a potential win on Sunday.
