Jorginho left in hysterics after spotting Arsenal teammate Gabriel Jesus in surprising situation

Arsenal star Jorginho did not pass up the chance to poke fun at his teammate Gabriel Jesus after he spotted the Brazilian having a driving lesson on Tuesday. Jesus has been sidelined with a knee injury since the World Cup in Qatar but is edging closer to making a return to action this month.

Jorginho was signed by Arsenal in the January transfer window after completing a £12million move from London rivals Chelsea. The Italy international has already become a popular figure in the dressing room and Mikel Arteta will hope his experience can help the Gunners lift their first Premier League trophy since 2004.

Jesus has been labelled as 'a revelation' for Arsenal by former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher, with the Brazil international playing a key role in their title charge in the first half of the season. The 25-year-old's return will come as a huge boost for Arteta and his team ahead of a crucial run of fixtures with the return of Europa League action this week.

Having spotted the striker having a driving lesson, the Italian midfielder could not help but laugh as he started filming for his Instagram. Jesus looked surprised to see his Arsenal teammate as he wound down his window to greet the laughing Jorginho, who immediately asked: "what are you doing?!"

The Brazilian striker responded: "Practicing, my friend," as he covered his face in slight embarrassment. Jesus then asked the Italian whether he could practice in Jorginho's car, a request that the £12million January signing swiftly rejected as he said: "no chance, mate!"

Jorginho finished off my wishing Jesus 'good luck' as he continued laughing, while Jesus smiled back as he went about continuing his lesson. The Arsenal stars are yet to play together for the Gunners but it's clear they have struck up a good friendship off the pitch already.

The fact that Jesus was having a driving lesson offers another positive indication that he has recovered from his knee injury and could soon share the pitch with the Italian midfielder. The Brazilian is set to travel with the squad for their Europa League last-16 clash against Sporting but is unlikely to feature in the matchday squad.
