For nearly three decades, Jorge Ramos and María Elena Salinas delivered the news together to Spanish-speaking households across the United States. Now they are preparing to share an election night desk again, nearly nine years after Salinas left Noticiero Univision.
Salinas will join Ramos on his digital program, Jorge Ramos: Así Veo Las Cosas, for Tu Voz - Tu Voto, a series of specials ahead of the November 3 midterm elections, production company Tres Alebrijes announced Tuesday. The series begins October 6 and will air each Tuesday, leading to a planned eight-hour live broadcast on election night.
