Jorge Masvidal has offered to take rapper Drake out to dinner in Miami after the musician lost a $275,000 bet on the UFC star's fight with Colby Covington.
Covington settled his bitter rivalry with Masvidal at UFC 272 by scoring a dominant points victory in Las Vegas.
Drake had backed Masvidal to secure victory with a six-figure sum ahead of the clash with the UFC star considered a 5/2 underdog in the build-up.
Masvidal has now made an offer to the rapper on Twitter, posting: "Next time you are in Miami, dinner on me."
With the odds previously given in the run-up to the showdown, Drake could have expected to have bagged a near-$1million prize for his wager.
However the fight played out very differently to his predicted outcome with Covington able to control large portions of the bout.
Gamebred's rival Covington took the opportunity to immediately mock the Toronto-based rapper in the aftermath of his success.
"Let's talk about all the money that Drake lost tonight," he mocked. "He needs to go back to selling those s***** albums to get back the money.
"He should have went to America's pick of the week by my bookie. I tried to give the people the pick of the week. I'm America's champ and I was America's pick of the week. Drake, you suck at sports betting. Go back to your s***** little albums of rapping."
Masvidal was good friends with Covington during their time training together at American Top Team.
However their relationship soured as the pair made their separate rises to the summit of the division, but they were finally able to meet in the octagon.
Masvidal was dominated for large parts of the fight, and had his best moment in the fourth round clipping Covington which saw the eventual winner take a knee.

However the 37-year-old was unable to capitalise on his opening and was dominated on the floor until the final bell.
The pair exchanged heated verbal jabs after the final bell, with their rivalry appearing far from settled as the bad blood continued to spill over.
Covington claimed Masvidal continued the simmering tension between the pair branding his rival a "hype machine".
“He was still running his mouth like, dude, you just got pounded out,” Covington said.
“You got dropped, wobbled, just a complete domination from second one to minute 25. You could see it in his body language he literally didn’t have another one minute in him to go.
“Just imagine if there wasn’t a ref in there tonight? His life would have been over. So that’s the end of Street Judas, I don’t wanna hear about hype about Street Judas.
“The hype machine who hit lightning in a bottle for a couple of fights. He’s done. I don’t want to hear another one about him.”
