Jordan Poole’s first season with the Wizards has been nothing short of entertaining so far, as the former Warrior takes on a bigger role for his new team. Poole has already been at the center of some viral moments for a Wizards team that has just two wins to begin the year.
The 24-year-old had another viral moment on Monday, this time when he appeared to misunderstand a specific rule in the game.
With the Wizards down 10 to the Bucks late in the fourth quarter, Poole wanted to try and prevent the clock from running by not touching the ball as he was bringing it up the court. Instead, though, the game clock ran while the shot clock didn’t start, meaning he inadvertently milked the clock instead of saving time.
Jordan Poole thought doing this stops both the game clock & the shot clock lmao pic.twitter.com/qiieC2zYHc

Not even a quarter of the way into the season, Poole has produced multiple funny moments, including a celebration gone wrong that seemed to mimic his former teammate, Stephen Curry.
In 13 games this year, Poole is averaging 16.6 points per game, which is second to Kyle Kuzma on the team. Despite being a focal point in Washington, Poole put up better numbers in similar minutes during each of his previous two seasons with the Warriors.
