Everton's Jordan Pickford is one of three goalkeepers Tottenham boss Antonio Conte is reportedly eyeing up to replace the long-serving Huge Lloris.
The Frenchman made the move to north London in August 2012 and has gone on to make 436 appearances for the club since joining from Ligue 1 outfit Lyon. However, he has come under fire in recent weeks after the Lillywhites' promising early-season Premier League form has withered after recent defeats to Newcastle United and Liverpool, with Jamie Carragher insisting neither Lloris nor the defenders in front of him are at the "level" Conte requires.
In January, just a few months after the Italian replaced Nuno Espirito Santo at the helm, Lloris was handed a new two-year extension that would see him remain at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium until 2024. However, journalist Graeme Bailey believes the 35-year-old could be phased out of Conte's side from the start of the 2023/24 season onwards, meaning that a move for a younger goalkeeper would become a focus during the summer transfer window.

Speaking to TEAMtalk, Bailey named the Everton and England No.1, Pickford, as a possible name that Conte could target next summer, insisting that the 28-year-old is an "option".
“Hugo Lloris has a deal until 2024, but it is highly unlikely he will be Tottenham's number one after this season," said Bailey. "He has been up and down and it is understood Tottenham are looking for his long-term replacement. And we can reveal that a number of options are in the Premier League.
“They have been linked to the likes of Jordan Pickford, Robert Sanchez and Illan Meslier, and these are the options for them. They really like Sanchez at Brighton – but it is likely that won’t be until the end of the season.”
He added: “Lloris will go to the World Cup finals, and it will be interesting to see how he goes in Qatar.
“But barring injury and a real collapse in form, he will get the rest of the season at Tottenham – which will almost certainly be his last as number one."
Pickford too sees his current contract in the Premier League expire in just under two years' time. However, since the summer, it has been reported that manager Frank Lampard is eager to tie the ex-Sunderland shot-stopper down to a new and improved deal at Goodison Park.
The 28-year-old made a move to Merseyside following the relegation of his boyhood club, Sunderland, from the Premier League in 2017, for what was a then club-record fee of £30m. After enduring a difficult start to life at Goodison Park due to the pressures that come with representing a club as prestigious as the Blues, Pickford has since gone from strength to strength both at club and international level.
The former Sunderland goalkeeper has long established himself as England's No.1 and is expected to keep his position as Gareth Southgate's first-choice for the World Cup later this month, for what will be his third major tournament with the Three Lions.
