Friday, July 26, 2024, will go down as payday for young quarterbacks in the NFL. First, the Miami Dolphins worked out a four-year contract extension with Tua Tagovailoa. Hours later, the Green Bay Packers and Jordan Love came to an agreement on a four-year extension worth $220 million.
The bonus on the extension was a cool $75 million and $160 million is guaranteed.
Packers QB Jordan Love set to sign a four-year, $220 million extension, with a whopping $75 million signing bonus. APY matches the $55 million per that Bengals QB Joe Burrow and Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence got.

It is good to be young and a quarterback your franchise is willing to bank on with beaucoup bucks.
Unlike Tagovailoa, Love had a one-year audition for his contract. After sitting behind Aaron Rodgers for three seasons, the former Utah State star took over and led Green Bay to a 9-8 record and a playoff berth.
Love threw for 4,159 yards and 32 touchdowns in 2023. He was picked off 11 times.
