Packers quarterback Jordan Love received an extra dose of training for the Chiefs game on Sunday when a Green Bay beat reporter appeared to ambush him with a Taylor Swift jam session.
This week, Love met up with Kassidy Hill of PackersNews.com in the Green Bay locker room to talk football—and Taylor Swift. Love admitted to reporters on Wednesday that he didn’t listen to the pop singer's music very much, so Hill took it upon herself to introduce the 25-year-old quarterback to a handful of songs.
Prior to the jam session, Love jokingly asked if he was “going to get canceled for this," and a few of his teammates chuckled in response.
Hill played Love 10-second snippets of six songs, and of the six, Love said he would skip three of them but listen to three others. The tracks he vibed to were “Shake It Off," “Bad Blood" and “You Belong With Me."
Love will certainly want to “shake off” his last encounter with the Chiefs, when Kansas City beat Green Bay 13—7 in 2021; Love passed for 190 yards and recorded one touchdown and one interception.
Despite Love’s rocky 2—5 start this season, he has helped his team win three of the last four games to stay alive in the playoff race.
Whether Swift, the girlfriend of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, will be in attendance at Lambeau Field won’t matter much to Love. The Chiefs have won every game this year when the pop singer was cheering in the stands, but Love will be looking to spoil the Chiefs'—and Swifties'—parade on Sunday at 8:20 p.m ET.
