Jordan Henderson says he will be fuelled by Liverpool's successful Champions League final in 2019 when they meet Real Madrid in Paris on Saturday.
The Reds will contest the European Cup showpiece with Los Blancos at the Stade de France as Jurgen Klopp's side play their third Champions League final in five seasons.
Henderson ranks 2019's win in Madrid against Tottenham Hotspur as the best moment of his career and he says that will be the driving factor for a repeat and not any notion of revenge against the team who beat them in Kyiv four years ago.

Asked about Mohamed Salah's comments around 'revenge' once the final was announced earlier this month, Henderson joked while sitting alongside his team-mate: "He didn’t mean to say that, did you Mo? I can understand from Mo’s point of view, it was a very emotional time, it was very tough for him and tough for everyone.
"But for me, you don’t need any more motivation to win a Champions League final. It was all you dreamed of as a kid, to play big games and they don’t get any bigger than a Champions League final. They are a world-class side with some world-class players.
"I would say winning the Champions League in Madrid was probably the biggest moment in my career, the most special, to get over the line to finally win the Champions League after going so close the year before, it was a really emotional time for me, I would definitely put it as number one in my career so far, so have even more motivation to get it on Saturday.
"You never know when the last chance to play a Champions League final is, that is why the next opportunity is the biggest one and this opportunity on Saturday is huge.
"It is everything to us and that is why we will give it everything. Things can change so quickly in football but we have worked for a long period of time, worked tirelessly for years, they don’t just happen and when you get them you have to be ready."
Henderson's appearance in the weekend's final will be his 57th of the campaign and he said that while he is feeling physically fresh, he confirmed that a chat with England manager Gareth Southgate over a summer rest was the reason for his omission from the Three Lions' squad announcement earlier this week.
"Physically, my numbers speak for themselves," Henderson added. "I have played a few games, felt really good, Mo has given us a few tips on recovery which have helped. This season has been really positive.
"I have felt really fresh, most games I have played, including internationals over 60, so it is nice when you get into your 30s and people question if you are too old.
"I spoke to Gareth a few days ago about what is best for me and the team and he felt the best thing for me was to have a rest and make sure I am ready to go next season and hopefully will be positive for Liverpool and England."
