Jordan Henderson left Jude Bellingham in no doubt about his thoughts on a potential move to Real Madrid - as his Liverpool side continue to chase the England star’s services.
The former Birmingham City starlet has shone for Gareth Southgate's Three Lions in Qatar and turned in another man-of-the-match showing in their victory over Senegal on Sunday evening. He was on hand to assist Liverpool star Henderson for England’s opening goal and celebrated emphatically with the 32-year-old.
Bellingham's displays at the World Cup have only intensified the speculation over Bellingham’s future, with the January transfer window opening in just a matter of weeks. Liverpool and Real Madrid are thought to be at the heart of the fight for the midfielder.
One particular fan in Qatar demanded that the 19-year-old make a move to the Santiago Bernabeu once England returned to their base after beating Senegal. In a video shared on a TikTok account with the name of dushane_0, the fan approached the youngster and said: “Bellingham, you are the best CM in the world. You are very good. Come to Real Madrid. Come to Real Madrid.”
Henderson then intervened with a simple answer. “No, no, no, no. Not Madrid. Not Madrid,” he said. The fan then said: “Oh, you lost the final [of the 2021 Champions League ],” a statement that sent Henderson into hysterics.

The supporter in Qatar then continued: “Don’t come to Liverpool. Come to Real Madrid, Bellingham, please. If you come to Real Madrid, you will get the Ballon d’Or.”
The battle is on to secure Bellingham’s signature after another standout season for Borussia Dortmund. He has made 20 appearances in all competitions for the Germans so far this season, scoring nine goals and notching three assists.
The midfielder is under contract until the summer of 2025, having joined Dortmund in a £25million deal from Birmingham back in July 2020. He has already got Liverpool fans talking during the World Cup in Qatar with a number of intriguing incidents.
Bellingham has revealed his admiration of Reds icon Steven Gerrard, whilst he is also developing close relationships with Liverpool duo Trent Alexander-Arnold and Henderson. After a picture was shared of Bellingham and Alexander Arnold, the latter said: "I'm just going out with a mate aren't I?
"Everyone [is] saying, 'Agent Trent'. But no, we went out - a few of us - yesterday, we were given the day off, so had a decent day out."
Bellingham will be back in action once more on Saturday as England attempt to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup. They are set to take on reigning champions France at the Al-Bayt Stadium.
